Youth Sports Can Shape a Life. We Take That Seriously.

Better Youth Sports Co. exists to help the people around young athletes become more prepared, more intentional, and more connected so sport can do what it was always meant to do.

Build better athletes, and more importantly, better people.

Our Approach

Our approach and methods are built around the Athlete Success Triangle.

The young athlete is at the top, but their experience is shaped by the base of coaches, parents, teams, organizations, and community around them.

We help strengthen that base because when the environment around the athlete gets stronger, the athlete thrives in youth sports, and in life beyond it.

We’re here to help coaches, parents, teams, and organizations to create better environments around young athletes.

We’re here to help coaches, parents, teams, and organizations to create better environments around young athletes.

We plan on being at the forefront of building a future where youth sports are taken as seriously as the young lives they shape.

We aim that Better Youth Sports Co. becomes the premiere home for the people who want to make youth sports better and are willing to help build it.

Meet Coach Ray

Raymond Ndjonok-Tonye, Founder

Raymond, also known as Coach Ray has spent the last 25 years of his life around the youth and sports, as a coach and mentor, strength & conditioning specialist, business owner, executive leader, and former NCAA Division I athlete.

But his passion for youth sports is truly his life calling.

He has seen what sports can do for a young person when the right people are around them because he’s lived it himself and has positively influenced many people in his journey in ways that stay with them for life.

That is why he created Better Youth Sports Co.

As a coach, leader and as a father, Raymond believes youth sports should be a place where young athletes are challenged, supported, guided, and developed to be the best people they can be for life.

His work is about helping coaches, parents, teams, and organizations fully take on that responsibility with pride to build stronger youth sports environments around the next generation.
